Everyone raise their post-event-nightmare glass in a toast to Mike Willey (WY) for earning full certification on Boston Ground and Delivery today during a fierce and intensely busy AvA event from KBOS to EIDW. He handled a huge number of clearances, an out of control frequency, and pilots of varying skill level with a level of control you'd expect to see in an old hand. It was a situation most of us rarely see until we've been here for a while, but instead of being intimidated, he rose to the challenge and easily earned full performance. Very impressive work.

Bravo!  Congratulations!  It's awesome to get a cert during an event!

Shoot, now I have to run out and have another key made to the tower cab!

Congrats Mike, and well deserved as I was observing. I think I recall claiming you as my hero this morning.

Enjoy Boston traffic, and I have extra sedatives from my latest trip to Fin Feather and Fur....if you might need them.
