What an idiot! Wanna save money? Get rid of that moron!
The reasons have already been stated, and well covered.
Charging pax to use toilets? Great idea ... but if you don't have the correct change, leave your stuff in his office.
Good Lord ....

These Continental passengers were totally OK knowing they were paying two pilots to fly:

How about that dark and stormy night aproach into good ole Bimiji, Minnesota where it is snowing like crazy, the wind is blowing 40 knots and you have to make an approach right to minimums with very little fuel left. No FMS, Computer or Autopilot is going to replace having someone sitting on your right helping you get home safe..
Not to mention bathroom breaks.. !! Mike |

While we are at it, who the hell needs mechanics? Why don't we train the ramp agents and baggage handlers to maintain our aircraft, it broadens their knowledge and gives them something better to do. To be honest, we could probably save money by outsourcing our ramp agents to India and just having them interact through a screen at the gate. Load your own aircraft... |

Don't ask us, ask each of the 150 passengers on USAir 1549 plus Captain Chesley Sullenberger and the 3 Flight Attendants whether or not they valued having First Officer Jeff Skiles on the flight that day. I betcha the answer is unanimous. I'm with ST; ignore his halfwitted (that's being generous) ramblings.

This is the same CEO who pushed for "standing room only" fares and charging pax for the lavatory. He's saying these batsh*t insane things for the free PR mileage. /ignore.
